My Story
I was born in Turin and first stood on skis when I was barely two years old. Growing up in a skiing family meant that the mountains were never just a place—they were home. Every weekend, every holiday, every chance to escape brought me back to the snow. As a teenager, I discovered snowboarding, and that spark became a fire. I became a snowboard instructor in Italy while studying at university, already knowing deep down that this would be my path.
I graduated from the University of Turin with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, but my love for the outdoors—and my need to explore the world—was stronger than any career plan. The day after graduation, I packed my bike and flew to New Zealand. I crossed the entire country on two wheels, rediscovered my love for skiing, and became a ski instructor as well. That journey changed everything.
Since then, life has taken me across more than 60 countries and into instructor roles in Europe, Australia, China, New Zealand, and Japan. Along the way, I became a Ski and Snowboard Examiner, helping to shape and certify the next generation of instructors.
For many winters, I lived in China, working on major government projects to train new resort staff and support the development of the country’s ski industry ahead of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. For nearly a decade, I chased the endless winter between Asia and Australia, living two winters a year and following the snow wherever it fell.
Travel has always been part of who I am. I’ve cycled the length of New Zealand, crossed Iceland by bike, and followed the ancient Silk Road under my own power. I love reaching places that feel almost forgotten; my journey has taken me to some of the world’s most unusual corners, including North Korea, Turkmenistan, and Timor-Leste, just to name a few.
After so many years around the globe, I have now found my winter home in St. Moritz. Being back in the Alps feels like returning to where the journey truly began—and where I’m happiest.
